Networking of Community Services

Networking of Community Services is part of the interdisciplinary systems approach utilized to help clients reach self-actualization.  This social services procedure incorporates case management which is a collaborative process that assesses, plans, implements, and coordinates services required to meet clients' physiological, healthcare, mental health, and social needs.  These community services include networking and linking resources to clientele provided by other human and social service workers and specialists, such as social service providers, mental health clinicians, healthcare practitioners, and legal specialists, to advocate for the needs of clientele.

Social Service Providers

I advocate for clientele while providing resources to assist with their basic needs, including food, clothing, housing, and employment.  Resources are also offered to clients with respect to Higher Education and for adolescents through collaboration with faculty members in the public school system.

Mental Health Clinicians

The networking of community services is provided on behalf of clientele as needed while making referrals to other mental health clinicians when additional mental health treatment is necessary, including Psychiatrists, medical doctors (PsyD) for medication evaluations, Psychologists, Doctors of Psychology (PhD) for psychological evaluations, and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) for mental health treatment services.

Healthcare Practitioners

Mind and body go hand-in-hand as each component impacts the other. Coordination of your mental health with your healthcare provider is a must, as this is crucial for your overall well-being. Therefore, linking clients to resources relevant to healthcare is provided on your behalf.

Legal Specialists

Advocation for the needs of clientele while providing resources for the legal system is provided as needed. Coordination of these services includes networking with family attorneys regarding child custody cases and DHS cases to assist parents in establishing successful family reunification. Networking with legal attorneys is a case management service also offered when members of the judicial system are court-ordered to seek therapy

"It's my great pleasure to recommend Angela Jackson as a therapist/counselor. As a social worker, I have collaborated with Ms. Jackson for the last "eight years." I've been highly impressed with Ms. Jackson's skills as a motivator, commitment to her clients, and dedication to their improvement. She brings a "unique talent" to "empower women" from all backgrounds, along with her enthusiasm, positive energy, and attentiveness to clients. Her honesty, dependability, confidence, and excellent communication skills have helped her become a trustworthy counselor that supports women to improve their "self-esteem and find their "self-value."
